The terms of use of this Forgejo Instance

This is the home of UCalgary Baja's code this takes proirity and has little limitations only considerations.

All users should still back up all repos to another service either codeberg (if open source), gitlab or github using the mirror settings. This can serve as a backup for other serivces but is not intended to be so.

For individual use outside of club activites this all applies.

There are no requirements that everything must be opensource or copy-left unlike codeberg.

This instance will attempt to maintain a 94% or greater uptime. Keep in mind this is free and doesn't recieve any value from hosting your code.

Getting an Account and Maintaining an Account

Firstly this requires that you have joined the UCalgary Baja Team (recruitment and interview processes)

Either the software lead, telemetry or data aquistion lead will sign you up for an account, or a seniro member from one of those teams will create an account for you

In order to maintain this account you must follow all rules specified in the bylaws, and graduate from the team on good terms.

Limitations

There are no data limitations or size limitations, please use reason for large files, this server is not likely to serve a lot of files quickly so it is not suited to serve files for anything.

Packages

Please keep only ~20 copies of packages, container images or only keep them for 6 months depending on settings as we want to keep more storage available for others code.

Cron Jobs

Please do not run these kinds of jobs if possible.

If you really need or want to run these types of jobs please schedule them for the times of 4 - 6 am as there are other tasks that may be ran during the night and take proirity.

Donations

While I would like money, I would prefer if you were going to donate please donate donate computer power in the form of actions runners.

Notices of Privacy

Admins may have access to everything dispite the visibility settings, AI will be limited as much as possbile from scraping this as training data.
